Hello! I’m Paulo Barcelos, an interaction designer and developer that believes that knowledge is useless if not shared and researches ways to make humans relate to machines in a more pleasant and meaningful way.

Over the past years I have worked both as a designer and developer in projects involving creative use of technology in medias like web, installations and mobile. Currently I am a grant holder at Fabrica, in Italy. Here, I’ve been researching how online experience actually works, how to use computers as better tools for expression and how to connect code with art. I am also a member of the design, art and music collective Azucrina and a musician in my spare time.
